Hidden Plot

And now, for what you have been waiting for as well as the subject of this place! It's time for the hidden plot! This page will have a lot of things. We will have an event that hints to a hidden plot. You may be surprised. You may not agree and have something to say against it.

Episode: Five/Six

Kagome: Inuyasha! (pulls out the sword) Huh?

Sesshoumaru: (Stops midway in his attack while he turns toward her with shock clearly written on his face.)

Kagome: Eh-it slipped?

Sesshoumaru: (Gets up and uses his demon speed toward her) Who are you and how did you pull out the sword?

Our Comments: Sesshoumaru is curious how she, a human woman, pulled out the sword while he and Inuyasha could not. When curious with something, you go up to it to get a closer look. He even stays beside her when she and Inuyasha converse with each other. Reason why was unknown since he could just use his poison spray from a distance.

Episode: Six

(Closeup of Kagome speaking angrily at Sesshoumaru, who had just stomped on the head of the mu-onna's head, while Myouga jumps around on her shoulder, panicing.)

Kagome: Just a minute you...

Myouga: Wah, Kagome!

(Closeup of Kagome turning to look at Myouga, who continues to jump around panicing.)

Myouga: Do not oppose him! I'll also be killed by him!

Kagome: But...

Our Comments: Sesshoumaru just ignores her while he ususally goes to attack those that oppose him. We've saw him do this to the soldiers when he asked for a boat. We know that this may seem very weak point.

Episode: Six

(Kagome comes out of the puddle of goo that melted from Sesshoumaru's and Inuyasha's father's bones.)

Kagome: I thought I would die.

Inuyasha: (Thinks) Wha?

(Sesshoumaru looking on impassively as Kagome points the katana at him while speaking forcefully)

Kagome: (points the sword at Sesshoumaru) Hey you tried to kill me didn't you? Don't go around thinking you're getting away with it.

Our Comments: We just burst into laughter when Sesshoumaru didn't even make a move toward her. We thought he would because she was pointing the sword at him, which is an offence, and speaks to him like he's a child.

Episode: Seven

(Sesshoumaru is now in his true form while Inuyasha has the sword in his hand, a smirk now on his mouth)

Inuyasha: (leaps up) This is it sword! Time to show me what you're made of!

(Sesshoumaru leaps up like a dog going for a treat and Inuyasha tries to hit Inuyasha but repells it. Sesshoumaru lands to where Kagome was, a clear look of shock once again written over his face while Kagome screams while getting away from him.)

Inuyasha: Didn't even make a scratch!

(Sesshoumaru tries again and has a smirk now on his face even when he misses Inuyasha.)

Our Comments: Just why is he showing shock when he missed him the first time while landing where Kagome? This also one of the biggest hints, even if it doesn't make sense to some people.

Episode: Eighteen

(Sesshoumaru raises the sword for the final blow but it goes back to it's rusty form. Inuyasha can't believe it.)

Kagome: Sesshoumaru! Drop the sword or the next arrow will pierce your heart!

Inuyasha: Kagome!

Kagome: Get out of there Inuyasha! Quickly.

Sesshoumaru: (thinks) The girl's arrow undid Tessaiga's transformation.

Our Comments: It seems that our little Kagome is getting the demon lord's curiousity a whole lot. Note how he calls her a girl and not a human.

Episode: Nineteen

(Kagome shoots the arrow when both of them are fighting and it hits Sesshoumaru's armor, making it crack. Sesshoumaru was again shows shock and looks at Inuyasha.)

Sesshoumaru: InuYasha, half breed though you are, the blood of a demon still runs through you. Be proud of that. Don't accept human aid even in death.

Our Comments: What he means is that he knows that she can possibly hit him now with his arrows, which might lead to his death. Yes, even he can die. Also, he accepted human aid when Inuyasha used the Wind Scar on him, even though he wasn't near death. Heheh.

Episode: Nineteen

Sesshoumaru: (Raises up Tessaiga and brings it down, which makes the Wind Scar go zig zag.)

Our Comments: Now why would the Wind Scar go side to side like that? The sword was halfway transformed and could've made the attack go straight still, which it finally did when it got close to Inuyasha and Kagome.

Episode: Seventy-Nine

(Rin is flying off with Jaken on Ah-Un after the toad had tried to steal the Tetsusaiga. We see Kagome watching them fly away as InuYasha is threatening to kill them, as usual)

Sango: What's wrong, Kagome? Did you loose something?

Kagome: (smiles and shakes her head) Nope. (thinking) Nobody noticed. Sesshomaru has always hated humans. But it was a human girl who saved Jaken just now. Why... is that?

Our Comments: This is where both of us actually realised the sort of Hidden Plot in the series. We always wondered why InuYasha and Shippou didn't pick up her scent, or why Sango, who was riding Kirara, didn't notice her. Why was Kagome the only one who noticed Rin? Because it's part of the plot - the start of the realisation that Sesshoumaru might not hate humans as much as he says he does! This is one of the biggest hints to the hidden plot.

Episode: One Hundred and Four

(A green slash goes right through Mukotsu, the poison user, and Kagome looks up to see Sesshoumaru. After Mukotsu kept opposing the demon lord, he was finally burned to a crisp and thrown behind a bush.)

Inuyasha: Bastard! What did you do to Kagome and the others?!

Kagome: No! Sesshomaru... saved us...

Sesshoumaru: I didn't save you... I merely got rid of something which will hinder our talk. That's all.

Inuyasha: What talk?

Sesshoumaru: Kohaku's scent is nearby. Is Naraku nearby too?

Our Comments: Truth is, he really did save her, and everyone else, but mostly her who was about to die by Mukotsu himself. He didn't really need to save her. Could've just talk to her while Mukotsu finished killing her. No, we're not saying he's a cold-hearted killer since he isn't, it's just something else we think since he claims to hate humans. Also, let's show you this one once again:

Kagome: No! Sesshomaru... saved us...

Sesshoumaru: I didn't save you... I merely got rid of something which will hinder our talk. That's all.

Our Comments: Notice what we bolded? She said us while he said you. Not you all, all of you, just you as in stating her only. He really didn't need to say that's all to her. To us, it's like he's being evasive or he's nervous, which is odd.

Movie: One

Sesshoumaru: Do you really hate her that much? That girl, named Kagome? (or, this one as well "That girl, Kagome, you truly must loathe her..?")

Kikyo: I hate everything. everything in time, everything living.

Sesshoumaru: Do what you want, but Inuyasha's life will end by my hand.

Our Comments: Now, let's get this straight, shall we? He never said her name-never, not in any episode/manga until now? Kikyou would've known what he was talking about if he didn't say Kagome's name. Of course, he calls her girl when she's around....

Movie: Three

Inuyasha: Hey! Get back here!

Sesshoumaru: You should be thankful to the girl.

Our Comments: He's telling Inuyasha that he's lucky to have Kagome with him to save him. See? Doesn't say her name.
