Sesshy-kun shoud b with Kikyou!!!!111
Author: Camille
Alright ya'll, I bet you know what I'm going to say about this one, yeah? If not, sit back and relax. As some of you noticed, people are supporting these two. I'm fine but-some of their reasons are not good enough. Let's take one from a site called Hidden Hearts. Mind you, my friend showed me this site's reason and some of them are complete stupid and makes you go, "WTF?!" Yes, in all caps with the ? and ! beside each other. Shall we begin?
First, off, in the Hints page of theirs, they say this before you read the hints:
...we have picked out a few details we've seen throughout the series...
Alright? Read that carefully? If you didn't notice, they said
series. Now, let's read their first hint.
1.Sesshoumaru and Kikyou normally appear close to each other in group pictures.
Oh boy, do these people need to learn. They're talking about something like this:

Oh, so I guess there is possible relationships with others when they're like this:

And this:

Not good enough. These are just pictures-not in the
actual series. Next one.
2.Sesshoumaru has never threaten/tried to kill Kikyou.
Good reason-oh wait-bad, know why? She's
already dead!
3. Sesshoumaru seems rather "concerned" about Kikyou's death..
They're talking about the first movie. He's just telling Jaken, who asked him about it, not actually concerned. You could tell by his voice in the Japanse and English one that he was just stating it.
4. In episode 124, Sesshoumaru averts his gaze every time Kikyou is mentioned.
Okay so Sesshoumaru didn't want to speak at first, so what? Their explanation for this is mostly that he's telling Inuyasha that he should watch out for those who he cares about. About the,
"What was your connection with that woman? Not that I want to know, but..." reason, it's basically he's just curious how Inuyasha and Kikyou's relationship is. He knows that both of them were together before this. As for averting his gaze every time Kikyou is mentioned reason wasn't even in here. Sesshoumaru isn't one to go the easy way either. He's straight to the point type. And when he said,
"Besides...the one who wasn't able to save her, Inuyasha, was you,", he wasn't feeling guilty when Kikyou died, once again, he's telling Inuyasha that he should save those that he cares for. When I think about it, he's kind of giving him a warning, that he should also be able to save Kagome as well.
5. Second closing video: Fukai Mori.
It's a closing-what the hell? Not even part of the series! They're saying this basically, "
In the Fukai Mori video, there's a scene in which Kikyou is wandering at night in a forest with her Shinidama-Chuu, and she's heading to the left. Then, nearly right after that scene, we see Sesshoumaru, also in a forest during daylight and walking to the right... It might seen a bit farfetched to say this, but that little detail might be telling us that either the taiyoukai and the miko have already met in that forest and are now going their separate ways, or that they are yet to encounter in a not-so-distant future. Also, if you read Fukai Mori's lyrics, you'll see that they fit those two so perfectly that it's almost as if the song had been made especially for them..." Honestly, it's just an ending. Sesshoumaru was in the sunlight while Kikyou is in the night time. I doubt they crossed pathes since they were both in
completely different settings, just because a scene changes in an opening/ending, it doesn't mean it goes with the other.
6. First movie's closing video: No More Words.
Do I really need to say anything? Here's what they say,
"Another closing video with a hint... In this ending, there's a scene in which Sesshoumaru, along with Rin and Jaken are wandering around the area where the previous battles had taken place, consequently near the place he and Kikyou had met. Then, we get a close-up of the taiyoukai, who has a somewhat thoughtful expression look, and right after that, we see Kikyou and her soul-catchers. Now, isn't that too much of a coincidence that Sesshoumaru seems to be in deep meditation so near the spot where he had seen the miko before...and then she "magically" pops up in the screen...? Yeah, probably just another one of the many "coincidences" revolving around these two..." He's always in a thoughtful expression. He's thinking, as always. Also, I'm not going to repeat myself about openings and endings.
7. Kikyou's apparent trust in Sesshoumaru.
Sure, she says what she was going to do to Kagome to get Inuyasha toward Sesshoumaru but, I bet she would say that to anyone else who is trying to kill inuyasha. Hell, she would give it to me because I hate Inuyasha too. The Three Musketeers!
That is all of their
hints. Oh, and for those who use the excuse:
He goes up to her in the first movie.
Like so:

Okay, so he goes up to her, right? Well, let's see about this:

This was in the manga and in the series. Yes, the series. Why did he go close to Kagome? That I do not know, but, here's what I think:
"When interested in someone, you go up to take a closer look (like Sesshoumaru did in that picture since she, a human, obviously took out Tetsusaiga when he and Inuyasha could not and is obviously curious)."
Also, Sesshoumaru says Kagome's name in the first movie while in the anime and manga, has always said woman or girl to her while he only called Kikyou "you". Referring someone to you, is not very polite and hasn't stated or noted what person you are. Remember when Inuyasha called Kagome you? She was furious. Calling someone a girl or women, is polite. Saying their name is something else. I know he says every other character's name but not Kagome's, which is quite surprising.
So, point is: Why would he want Kikyou when she's dead and it's obvious that Inuyasha and her are in love and why would she love Sesshoumaru back when she loves Inuyasha? Reason why she wants Inuyasha in hell with her people.
